About

The Nethergate Brewery was born in 1986, in the small town of Clare, in Suffolk. Like many great ideas it was conceived in a pub between two friends, one a businessman and the other a microbiologist…the perfect team to set up a brewery.

We sell a selection of the finest craft beers, ales and lager both online and through our brewery shop and tap room. From our core beers such as Venture, Suffolk County, Stour Valley Gold and Old Growler, to our coriander infused Umbel and Umbel Magna, there’s sure to be something to suit every taste.
