Skorkart is the working studio, gallery and shop of local Artist Katharine Skorka. Located in the Craft Village at Halfpenny Green Wine Estate, Katharine offers Pet Portraits, art classes, and an art club. The gallery and shop showcases her latest work and you can buy gifts themed with Katharine's art work such as, mugs, coasters, tea towels, cushions, greetings cards, art prints and more!
Pet Portraits:
Katharine's pastel portraits capture the finest details, a large, regal portrait that is timeless and a beautiful piece. They take in the region of 20hrs+ to make. This time and dedication is reflected in the quality of the portrait. Pastel portraits are perfect special occasion gifts such as birthdays, weddings, anniversary's or to commemorate a lost loved pet.
Katharine's watercolour portraits have a more painterly look. They are less detailed but still characterful. A smaller size than pastels they take 7hrs+ and are a wonderful keepsake that fits a lower budget. Perfect small gift for family, friends or colleagues.

Thanks for the great picture of Heath Ledger as the Joker from the Dark Knight, it looks so good in the bathroom as it makes me smile whenever I walk in there due to the fact that it’s a little something extra within the bathroom other than just grey walls whilst not overdoing it. 😊 Would reccommend as Kat Skorka is able to do original artwork with her own take upon every piece which is made to perfection and so because of this I would be happy to come again within the future to her art shop. 😊 P.s. I asked Kat to create a double watercolour of our two cats for my husband's 40th birthday and we were over the moon with the painting. Kat really captured both personalities of the cats and it's something we will keep forever. It is now hung pride of place on our living room wall and makes us smile everytime we walk past :)
I commissioned Kat to draw our beautiful chestnut mare who we sadly lost in October. Not only did Kat produce an amazing work of art but she brought in Richard of Ashlyn framing to finish the piece off. The time and effort both Kat and Richard took over the project blew me away and the end result has left us with a beautiful memory that will last forever! Highly recommended!
