Welcome to Stitch X Stitch - a great place for "ALL THINGS SEWING" in Stowmarket, Suffolk.

Open for business since April 2015. Our passion is for sewing machines, fabrics and bringing people together to enjoy and share making and creating. We run a wide variety of sewing classes that offer something for all skill levels with the emphasis very much on having fun whilst you learn. Classes include Absolute Beginners, Dressmaking "In A Day" classes, Patchwork & Quilting, Bag-making, Soft Furnishings, Get to Know Your Sewing Machine and Overlocker and much more.

SEWING MACHINES:
We are authorised dealers of Brother, Husqvana and Pfaff sewing machines and overlockers. If you are looking for a new machine and not sure which machine would be best suited to your particular needs, feel free to pop in or contact us for advice. We offer free UNLIMITED tuition with every sewing machine purchase. We are also Horn Furniture stockists and can demonstrate these fabulous sewing cabinets with our in-store model. We service sewing machines and overlockers too. Simply drop your machine into the shop at any time and we will take care of it for you. Turn around time is approximately one week.

Come and see our fabulous selection of fabrics from all the well-known brands. 100% cotton fabrics from Moda, Michael Miller, Maywood Studio, Tilda, Northcott, Windham Fabrics, In the Beginning, Timeless Treasures, Clothworks, Studio E, Freespirit, Robert Kaufman, Hoffman and many more. We have regular deliveries to keep our range fresh and exciting.

We stock a large range of haberdashery too, including: pins, needles for machine and hand sewing, scissors, elastic, velcro, interfacing and stabilisers: Heat N Bond, Steam-A-Seam, bias binding, felt, buttons, ribbon, toy stuffing, embroidery thread and much much more.

We are stockists of Aurifil Thread, Mettler polyester thread and overlocking thread, Olfa and Fiskars rotary cutters and Creative Grids patchwork rulers and templates and cutting boards. In addition we stock a wide variety of quilt and craft waddings: Pellon, Bosal and Vilene products and Polyester, 80/20, 100% cotton wadding and bamboo blend wadding in a variety of widths.
