We are a privately owned free house run in the traditional way, wet sales are the order of the day with up to 15 real ales and ciders available, also fine selection of homemade snacks are available.

We strive to supply as many locally sourced ales and ciders as we can and stick to what we know, from light citrus beers to dark rich porters, from 3.6% abv to 10.5% abv.

If chillers filled with craft beer (tins and bottles) is your tipple, then sadly we are not for you.

All are welcome here even our furry friends (which must be on a lead). and we pride yourselves in offering a warm and friendly welcome to those who care to visit.

The compact beer garden offers a relaxing retreat and there is a covered area for those that like a puff.

A separate gaming room is available with wide screen tv, pool and darts.
