French café/restaurant which has been running for 18 years. Serving 100% fresh homemade food and a wide variety of wines
Our cafe opens at 9am with a great selection of teas and coffees. Homemade pastries & cakes are served all day while our cooked breakfast are served until 11 am.
A great selection of snacks, platters and light lunches are available to choose from.

We also offer daily lunchtime specials from our blackboard. These dishes change everyday and are served from 12 noon to 2.30pm (3pm on Saturdays)
After lunch, our cafe stays open for afternoon cream teas and cakes. Come and try our very well known fruit scones and homemade jam
Dinners are served from 6pm on Fridays and Saturdays

As well as our seasonal A La Carte menu, you will be able to order from our blackboard specials.

Do you offer Sunday Roasts?

We don't offer Sunday Roasts as we are closed on Sundays but we do have a wonderful menu from Tuesday to Saturday 9am to 4:30pm and Friday and Saturdays 6pm until 9:30pm aswell!

Can I order online?

You can indeed! We offer our breakfast club 9am-12 noon Tuesday to Saturday! Simply order on our online menu and collect at your chosen time. Order here

Do you offer parking?

There are a few car spaces available on Friars Street or on Market place, limited to one hour (no return). The closest car parks are situated at the Quay Theatre on Quay Lane (4 minutes walk!) or at the Kingfisher Leisure Center, next to Waitrose, Station Road (4 minutes walk as well!).
